Been there, done that || Will & Kelly
Kelly didn't know what got into her mind when she asked Will out, but he'd been kind of cute and playful and she liked that. The fact that there wasn't all just this steely front made her see the old Will, the one she actually missed, though she shouldn't. Guys always messed with her head and she would become completely crazy then. Ugh, but Will was her first love, her first anything actually and no one could ever let go of that. And when they talked and were almost normal, things were getting to Kelly and she got nostalgic or something. That's why she was packing food now, waiting for William to pick her up, a date. This was ridiculous, why did he even say yes to that? Kelly always though he kind of hated her or something like that but then again, he kissed her and they had this hook up. Wow, this date was going to be awkward.
She planned to go to the woods where they always met up when Kelly sneaked out at night because her dad didn't like Will around. They were rebels back then and Kelly loved the thrill that came with it. She didn't think now this was about a thrill, this was just pure curiosity how they might work out now. Now Kelly had been through a lot and still hadn't anyone to confide in when it came to the thing she didn't want to think about right now, because whenever she did, tears were threatening to come out. So now she had to refrain herself and get together the rest of the things to go out to wait at the street for her ride. Would he stand her up? Hopefully not. A short bit of doubts were going through her head if this was a good idea, but since she's been cooped up most of the time lately maybe this would be fun after all.
Willette | I still love you..is that a problem?
Josette frowned sighing violently as she slammed her elbows on the shiny mahogany desk before her. She instantly buried her face in her hands rubbing her eyes of any tears that could potentially fall from them. Too much was on her mind...too much mental discomfort...too much to think about she felt as if she could not go on much longer. She though that locking herself in the study to concentrate on papers would do her some good and help her get somethings done instead of thinking. But she was mistaken not only did she not do much of anything she couldn't stop thinking about Clotaire...about the future...and about that pirate she had put up with for the past few weeks.
Josette had returned home for about a month with the help of a loyal Chinese soldier Ang na and though the trip was long and exhausting the two had finally made it back to France nice and safely. Josette's arrival however was everything but happy. Though her parents were relieved and ecstatic that she had returned to them alive they wished they could say the same thing for Clotaire. She found out by entering the library where she was met with her sobbing mother in the arms of her father as the two nestled themselves before a fireplace. Belle was much too overwhelmed with happiness that Josette was alive and returned yet overwhelmed with sadness for she had no idea where the body of her only son lay. Having no ability to speak due to so much emotion Belle couldn't due much of anything but take Josette into her arms and with a pained smile and shaky hand give the letter to her daughter to read. Upon opening and reading it Josette nearly fainted and had to be taken to bed right away.
The princess shivered as she sat at her desk trying to shake off that memory. She bit her bottom lip perhaps a bit too hard to keep from crying since she was much too tired of it why couldn't Clotaire be just less self-righteous? Why did he have to be so brave? Why? Josette's mind then went to this supposed rumor about a pirate ship that had recently pulled into Colmar's port and was there for sometime now. It made everyone in the province very uneasy and so worried or suspicious that many residents made a trip to the castle to ask Adam if he could call any officials to get rid of them before they had a chance to raid and pillage the place. However the arrangements were yet to be made and no one could do anything much of anything but wait for Prince Adam knew pirates were unlikely to negotiate or leave peacefully when asked.
Josette would spend many nights thinking about the supposed pirate ship parked in the town and either she would become frustrated or worried about their intentions, or she would think the ship could be belonging to none other than the pirate captain William Sparrow. She thought herself ridiculous and stupid though for thinking this out of all the pirate ships out there what were the odds the ship would be his? Why would he bother coming back to France anyway? Then her thoughts would seep into how she truly hoped it was him and how she somewhat missed the pirate? Josette shook her head violently thinking she minus well slam her head on the desk at this point how could she think of something so ridiculous? He was a pirate...a criminal...someone she would never associate with.
After awhile of wondering and wondering Josette had enough. She picked up her black and red black skirts of her dress and hurried out of the study climbing up the twisting and dark stair wells leading to the highest room or tower out of the whole castle the west wing. The whole province could nearly be seen from the balcony window there. She stepped out onto the balcony and through the trees the princess swore she could see the tips of pirate sails bustling in the wind, so it was true a band of pirate was here to stay.
