I think maybe he works in a laborer job, something he had to always be outside his comfort zone (that's why he despite people i think) got a bad boss/bad coworkers, boring and exhausting routine.

Or! I also like the idea of him being a painter with Vera is the breadwinner of the house, everything went very smoothly until his divorce that led him lose his inspiration and fell into depression. (also i like the idea of him painted that Loneliness and Isolation pic during his post-divorce)

Wireface is a very bright and talkative person, I think he'd fit very well with service job. for flight attendants they have to know at least two or three languages so i think Wireface himself can speak multiple language except one that matters most, Russian.

And I like the idea of him tried speaking multiple languages to homeowner to see if there's any they can communicate, unfortunately, homeowner only speaks russian.
