New artwork by Shirahama Kamome posted today on her Twitter depicting Agott and Coco in white night-dresses and sheer veils. I’m intrigued by the beads that loop around Agott’s ankle that Coco holds the other end of - perhaps some indication of their entwining fates? Their hands nearly touching behind their backs is quite striking too. 

so occasionally, and i do mean very occasionally, shirahama will post an illustration for a mini series posted under the tag #ゾザの物語詩, which translates literally into “Zoza’s narrative poetry”, though the specific type of narrative poetry likely falls under epics or ballads in the English sense.

Zoza is the name of the peninsula where the story of Witch Hat Atelier takes place, and the tag’s contents i believe are mainly just world-building fluff. however, two of the current images have actually shown up in the story, which i will show below!

On my last Witch Hat Atelier fanart, someone commented saying the swirling design reminded them of Van Gogh's Starry Night, so I thought, why not go all out for the look?

I spent some time updating my Paint Tool SAI to the latest version and created some new Impressionist brushes. I'm super happy with these new brushes and look forward to painting lots of landscapes and skies with them~

It's been raining almost everyday in Sweden for a month and I haven't seen the sun this whole time either. I feel like Brush Buddy trapped in the water hat 😭😭😭 The only thing I have to look forward to is the Witch Hat Atelier anime coming out in 2026. The trailer is already so amazing! Who else is a fan of the manga?
