probably no ones gonna see this but imo if haunting adeline really gets adapted into a movie, women all across the world are gen fucked cuz men r gonna assume that we like getting raped
i genuinely do not know why the person who wrote that book would publish it in the first place. i get some people could be traumatized from past experiences and have unwanted thoughts and desires, but sharing it to the public only makes it worse; it gets romanticised and normalized, watered down to just being 'dark romance'
