Signs You're a Busy Freelancer
The thoughts that run through my mind on a busy day:
#1. You make a large coffee/tea in the morning to help you get through the day. By 3:30pm, you are reheating it.
#2. The project you were focusing on all day is not the one that's completed by sunset.
#3. You can't believe the time on the clock. Is it already 4?Ā
#4. Is today Tuesday? Or Wednesday? Burning the candles at both ends would require knowing where one ends and the other begins.

Recently, I took a photography class to do with lighting. It was a more beginner class, but it was nice to get back to basics of photography and remember what interested me in taking photos in the first place. For our last class, we did a photo shoot with a couple of the girls from the local Roller Derby team that were just up and coming in the region. It was a lot of fun!
After the shoot was over, we loaded the photos onto the instructer's computer, and he made copies for the Kamloops Roller Derby DD's for their promotional use. The only stipulation was that they credit each photographer when they used their work. And it turns out, they used one of mine for an artice in the Kamloops Daily News! Very cool!
