endearingly so

she allowed her tongue to swirl around the length of his finger, licking land looking lasciviously, the apples of her cheeks rounded in a smile. she thought of it like something she had done many times before, like savoring a sweet, relishing a reward--and her efforts proved fruitful.

“you’re captivating,” he breathes the word with a tremor from the feeling of euphoria that had yet to completely subside. haurchefant has befriended, bedded many an adventurer, only to see them slip from his fingers in a matter of days, flames burning bright as a passing passion. he had been privy to all levels of expertise and reveled in the everything that they were, in the then and there that they existed. everyone he had encountered was exceptional in their own way, and yet serafina had proved herself different, because she had a blend. a blend of tender touches and nails dragged on skin, sweet kisses and teeth at his collarbone. a blend of innocent firsts and ingrained desire. and he would be forever gleeful that he took notice of it since their introduction, the light in her eyes that hid a larger, stronger fire, one that he sought to be seared in. 

when he retreats his finger from her lips, her mouth keeps open in an airy giggle, gaze ever fixated on him and him only. it’s the gaze he’s wanted all along--completely at a loss for everyone and everything going on in the world, free of cares and free of troubles, mesmerized and fixated on him and him alone. 

and by the fury did she wear it well--

“as are you.” her lips finally close in a syrupy smile, cheek against the pillow, dusk-rose tresses tickling his chin. there isn’t a thing she does that doesn’t make him smile, from the way her ears twitched when alert to the way she chewed on her lip when lost in thought.
