The King, however, held her stare in his and did not leave for a long moment, vaguely aware of his Knight’s narrowed gaze.  He had known, then. And yet, he had not reported her. Ah.  It was Kyle's turn to keep his peace; holding what he already knew close to him. With Silver’s gaze still captured in his, he nodded. A small, slight nod. “Then we will wait.” And her shoulders sagged with relief, her hand still intertwined with her Lady’s.

Distantly, she noted that nobody had tried to kill anyone else for the past ten minutes, which might have just been a new record for the room. 

mtf kyle and stan would be two completely different lesbians:

Kyle would most definitely wear nice turtlenecks and pencil skirts and wear presentable makeup. Because she's comfortable with her gender and likes expressing herself.

Stan would wear free shirts she got from somewhere (unsure where) at some point (time is an illusion) and basketball shorts or something comfortable because she's comfortable with her gender and doesn't need to prove she's a woman.

Ftm Kyle and Stan would operate under the same rhetoric, but Kyle would wear suits and oxfords. Stan would, again, be the exact same.

Anyway I've been thinking about gender identity a lot. How could you tell?

Chapter 6 Summary and Preview Each following different songs into the gardens, two children of the Gods are bewitched by the Siren's call. Kyle turned his head back, staring up at the same brittle leaves – the same stars that seemed to pebble the night sky and filtered through the tree and kissed its crown, looking as though they were the tree’s crystalline fruits – borne only in the moonlight. He closed his eyes and let the darkness envelop him, let the brittle light of the stars fade behind his lids. I was warned this one would be clever.  I have not been alone with another person, under this tree, in a decade.  He has the wrists of someone who has been held too tight, and too often.  I should send him back to his chambers.

Kyle did not send Kenny back to his chambers.
