      How arrogant and snobbish and self-centred could ONE GUY possibly GET ? A small sigh escapes him, and he’s tempted roll his eyes. The guy could continue to attempt to talk down to him, could continue to be an irregularity in the prospect of human decency. He’d pay no heed. In his mind, if this guy wanted fair treatment, he was going to get fair treatment.

        ❛   Pretty sure attempting to suggest that the way I dress somehow reflects me as a person is more than just a simple question. Frankly, I don’t need to look at your clothes to know you’re a narcissistic asshole. Maybe, next time, before saying what you’re thinking, ask yourself if people are really going to give a damn about your shitty opinions. Or just try and be a bit nicer about the way you say it.    ❜

          He let out a soft laugh, almost being amused by how the other tried to talk him down, or offend him in any way. He was more offended by the fact that he was wasting time on someone like the guy before him, than he was by his comments. Besides, there was no need to be told that he was narcissistic -- he knew himself that he was rather great already.

‘If you love something for its value– I don’t think that’s love, sir.’

she shrugs. he can look at her all he likes, she won’t flinch away. let him be rude if he wants to, daisy will be rude right back.

‘Many things, yes. Books, dancing, not really anything material– but I don’t mind pearls.’

          “Oh is that so? And for what reason are you able to love then, if it’s not for its value?”

          And no matter what her answer would be, he wouldn’t agree with it already. The thoughts of a foolish little girl would not change his mind.

her voice, while wispy in tone is firm and dismissive. she touches the ribbon around her neck, the green clashes tragically with her pale-orange dress. it’s evident she cares very little.

‘I prefer simpler things, although I doubt you agree.’

          “No great love for diamonds? Indeed, we do not agree on that statement -- I wonder how someone could not have a love for something so... valuable.”

          He looks her up and down, his eyebrows raised, almost as if he’s judging her already, by only her appearance. Even the way she looked seemed to back-up her statement.

         Clearly the guy couldn’t take an insult, but was happy throwing them around. What a hypocrite. Normally, he does his best to avoid letting people get on his nerves, and lets them do their own thing, regardless of how he himself happened to feel about it. But this guy obviously needed a good old fashioned lesson in RESPECT.

          A hand perched at his hip, his frown still present as the other continued to make comments of his own. If this boy hadn’t been such a nuisance, then he would have been on his way already. Surely, he knew he had started this himself, but he only wanted to make a statement -- that commoners clearly lacked the ability to look neat.
