Today, I felt really tired and exhausted. I seem to be disappointed in everything and to everyone. I am so discouraged to the point where I am almost losing my peace. While I am running some errands, I purposely asked myself “What am I doing about this? Am I acting like Jesus? Why is my peace disturbed?” And it came like a bang — I am making this little concern eat me up. I am trying to resolve things my way. I am unintentionally manipulating people. I knew right then that my problem was rooted in me. I acted upon it ALONE. I carried a baggage that isn’t mine. Look here, if we take something that’s not ours, we feel troubled. So when I try to fix everything on my own, I feel tired, exhausted and discouraged with the results. I, alone, couldn’t do anything about my problems.
