I'm not gonna draw this out, I'm losing interest in pushing this blog. It fell into the trap that many prompt adventures do of completely forgetting where it was going. My workload is still proving tough to manage, and Preamble is this weird, meandering, directionless project that's outlived its purpose.

But, I've not lost interest in the world it's set in. That world is very big and Preamble is a very tiny part of it. The blog was essentially an experiment in running something that wasn't fanwork, and very much represents a work in progress (you may have noticed the redesign that took effect in the middle of the action). Kyra was one character, doing something kind of unimportant, outside the main story.

It was ultimately a (wait for it)...

... Preamble to something bigger.

So what I'm going to do is stop updating Preamble. I won't delete the blog or any posts on it, because I hate when people do that. So I won't do it to you. In its place, I'm probably going to start a new art-and-worldbuilding blog, showing off little glimpses and peeps of what I'm working on, as soon as I settle on a name for the blog.

Or I could, as a last hurrah for Preamble, leave the answers open on this post for people to suggest names for it?

Time to put this notice up because it probably needs to be said

Plane Sailing and Preamble are currently paused while I work on other things. They will continue, I just can’t say for definite when. I’ll probably start working on them again when I finish Firestarter Spitfire’s 3k animation and the current arc. That said my exams will be a couple of weeks after that, so I won’t be firing on all cylinders JUST yet.

But rest assured, I haven’t forgotten about these things.

After what feels like a month, you awake to see a hand offering to help you up.

Delays

I should probably at least acknowledge the HUGE gap in time since my last updates on Plane Sailing and Preamble. I’ve been monstrously busy with other stuff, and it’s not about to get any better any time soon, because in the new year I’ll be away for 11 days in Kenya. For science. (You monster.) I MIGHT find the time to update one or both before I go, but on the whole, just hang on for a while.
