everytime i get real sad i remember why i havent deleted this account yet. this is the only place i feel safe to be just completely emo

i just got real nostalgic for the old night vale days. when podcasts werent even that popular yet in the hayday of the fandom just a bunch of people going crazy over this weird little thing that not everyone really understood. i remember to this day the feeling of listening to cecil's voice for the first time just talking about this bizarre town in the desert and just feeling like i'd never heard anything like that before. i stayed up till morning catching up. i remember the fanarts, the discussions, how amazing it was to witness the slowburn romance of cecil and carlos. its just ive listened to so much more stuff since then and y'kow, life happend but night vale really will always be a big part of who i am today
