I was DMing my first session, and I had four friends playing a cleric, a rogue, a monk and a sorcerer. The cleric… did not have the best luck. He rolled more natural ones in that single session than I have seen since in the rest of our campaign combined. They were trekking through a mountaintop library and fighting Orcs, and in the first encounter our cleric managed to kill the sorcerer with his poorly aimed greatsword. He managed to also almost critically injured the monk twice, and when they were fighting a giant eagle at the end he accidentally stabbed the monk and killed him. Then, once the eagle had been killed, he decided to attack a giant egg because he wanted omelettes… He rolled three natural ones in a row, causing the sword to rebound off the egg, slice through his neck and then fly into the chest of the rogue. He killed more people that the final boss did!
