at first , he could have sworn that the other had been aware of his presence without so much as announcing it with words.  then it became clear : she was talking to herself , something which he found all too common in people he stumbled upon.   “  a ninja ? no , I am no ninja. ”  amused by the notion , and once upon a time he may have jumped at the chance to proudly announce being an angel of the lord.  however ,  now he carefully selected which words were shared and his connection to heaven was not something he preferred telling just anyone.  “  I could use some help in finding another type of jacket to wear.  ”  at least for special occasions.
