Hi there everyone! My name on here is Mystic (I don’t feel comfortable using my real name). This blog is primarily to rant about my special interest and promote my own power ranger fanfic. I’ll share headcanons, opinions, and just random rant posts that primarily revolve around power rangers (both canon and non-canon).

My favorite power ranger series: Mystic force, SPD, Samurai/Super Samurai, and Jungle Fury.

Other Fandoms I Am Apart of: Note these may be mentioned but are not the primary focus of the blog. Spirit Animals (book series), Percy Jackson (book series), Hunger Games, and Pokemon (mostly tv shows, a little bit involved with the games).

Warning: My power rangers fanfic will contain darker elements than the standard stories such as: physical/mental illnesses and/or disorders, toxic relationships/friendships, injuries and gore, and other mature topics related content. These topics will not be posted on this blog in their entirety they will be on wattpad. They will also be mentioned here. Minors please DNI.

Today we’re going to talk about Abigail Swan. Abby serves as both a mentor and a purple power ranger, harnessing the spirit of a giraffe. However she is largely out of commission due to having her powers captured.

Unlike other mentors she fully allows her kids to use their powers (out of suit wise) for their own benefit.

For example, Zoe wants to put up an illusion (that’s her power) and pretend she’s above 21 to buy alcohol? Go ahead, don’t get drunk to the point where you can’t function. In her words “the world might end and I’ll be damned if you die before you have your first beer.”

Today we’ll be talking about Sadie aka my pink ranger. She’s the reincarnation of an ostrich-which people probably won’t like. I’ve already been told it’s to boring for a pr series but imo what’s more boring is seeing like 5 rangers with t-Rex, lion, and tiger zords.

She will prioritize herself over the team at points.

Sadie is very smart and she isn’t ashamed to admit it. She’s got the highest gpa out of all of them and uses it to her advantage. Her background is admittedly roughened due to her social and economic status so she didn’t have the same opportunities as rich people growing up. So when she gets an offer to go to an Ivy League college on a scholarship and the fight for briarwoods safety is still continuing-she will take it every time.

My red ranger Zoe (aka Nick and Maddie’s daughter) hates Zordon. Literally in her core. She doesn’t remotely approve of the idea of recruiting teenagers into a fight that was never there own. If Zordon tries to force a connection (whether him or his rangers), she immediately butts in with an “I don’t take orders from you, nor will I ever. Any man that recruits child soldiers will never have my support”

and you might be thinking, Zoe aren’t you a teenage power ranger? Don’t be a hypocrite!

and you have a point she very much is. however her being there is quite literally tied into a prophecy, her bloodline, and ancient reincarnations. bottom line is she had no choice, but Zordon had every opportunity to involve yk, actual adults.

Maddie or Vida Rocca? I like them both but I also know that some other people really disliked mystic force in general
