First century ride of the year 💯, impromptu one at that. Knocked out 50 of it on the GP ride this A.M. (Great coffee stop after, much needed) It was too nice so I didn't want to go home. Knocked out another 30 miles and then realized I had only another 20 to go so why not? 5 1/2 hours later I had 100 miles under my belt. Who wants to do another century on Monday? Welcome to the world Ginger Sabbath, 16 lbs of pure fury that is ready to dominate the Chinese racing scene 🇨🇳 Thanks to Drew at @cyclocarbon for the repaired and fresh painted carbon toy. It turned out just as I wanted it to, thanks for being so easy to work with. I recommend anyone with carbon repairs to head Drew's way. Top notch job. Even with my move over seas I'm extremely grateful to have the awesome support from @hedwheels, @moltenspeedwax, @timesportusa and @lazersport. My departure is just over three weeks away, I'm looking forward to adding lots of hours on this before I finally take off and start racing. Ginger Sabbath is just something I came up with quickly. Can't stop thinking about how awesome Saturday mornings ride was. Good camaraderie, great weather, fantastic roads and of the best damn pre ride mushroom omelettes I've ever had from @letoiledunordcafe. Two 19th's for me on the weekend at #subarucyclocup, at least I'm consistent. With rain constant pretty much all week here in Seattle we saw some super sloppy conditions yesterday. But the sun gods came out today and shined down that beautifully vitamin d and dries up the course a bit. Made some tack and rad ruts. Happy to walk away with two top 20's. Next up Minnesota State Championships next weekend, glad to stay home for a weekend and see some #mncx people. (at Ft. Steliacoom Park)
