… It, takes a second for the gift to sink in. Jade, made her a custom knife, complete with a gorgeous detailing on the sides and precious stones to make it glimmer. It was. Well. This was one of the nicest things to happen to her in a long, long time. Rose simply held the dagger in her hands for a moment, idly turning it over in her hand, finger trailing up the blade and pricking her thumb, letting a drop of crimson run down. “Jade. You made this for me?”

She chuckles then, suddenly bashful as she reaches up to ruffle her hair. “Heheh, yeah…. is that okay? I was inspired after our talk in the lagoon. When we were sunning on the rocks.”

Rose just, looks up with sparkling eyes. “Jade, truly, this is wonderful. I shall treasure this.”

Jade wiggles with a smile, any bashfulness now gone in the face of Rose’s utter joy. She scoots in a little closer and leans to kiss their pale cheek. “I’ll make sure you have a whetstone before you leave.”

“I already have one dear, but it is kind of you to remember <3 Now, are you ready for your gifts~”
