Shame is not the truth about you. It is someone else's discomfort wearing your face.

The lonliness you feel is not proof that something is wrong with you. It is proof that connection matters to you. That is not a small thing. Hold onto that. It will lead you somewhere.

Progress doesn’t announce itself daily. You won’t feel it happening. You’ll only see it when you look back and realize how far you’ve actually come.

Fight. Scream. Thrash. Indulge. Rage. Laugh. Do whatever you must. But no matter what, keep moving.

Nobody tells you it's physical. That the absence of someone can sit in your body like a wound. It can. And like a wound, it will close. Not because time heals. That's too easy. But because you will, quietly and without realizing it, begin to heal yourself.

You are allowed to stop. Not forever. Just for now. Not every day is meant to be seized. Some days are meant to be survived, and that is enough.

Comparison only works if you’ve already decided you’re behind. Who told you that?

Stop asking when it ends. The asking is what keeps you out of now.

You have been waiting for something to arrive and change everything. It isn't coming. It was never coming. The change you're waiting for lives inside you, and it has been waiting longer than you have.

Sometimes we destroy what we love, including ourselves, because we don't know what else to do with the pain. I'm not here to lecture you. But you are worth more than what you do to survive it.

Insecurity does not disqualify you. It just makes you think it does.

It won’t feel right after the first step. It will feel unnatural. That is not a sign to stop. That is just what change feels like.

If you wait until the fear leaves, you'll be afraid forever.
