It just... makes us feel a little awkward. All our other boendestöd and substitute ones we've had -- except one, who thankfully quit -- are... we know it's their job but they don't make us feel like it is? They talk with us, ask about stuff happening in our life and tells us about stuff happening in theirs. We joke around together. Biniam often tells us about life in Eritrea. We got curry sauce splashed on a shirt once while cooking with Jenny, and the next time we met, she had gotten us an apron, from her own money. Helen saw that we were sad and asked if she could hug us. Stuff like that.

It feels like... there's a relationship, I guess. We're not just A Job to them. So it's very awkward when the one exception that we clearly *are* just A Job to shows up.

I really, really doubt it but one can hope. The show, from what we understand, is already so completely different from the books that they can just as well let us have a family instead of having him be with A/lys.
