Seeing multiple men in my social media feed post about the passing of Éliane Radigue while posting a picture of Laurie Spiegel speaks volumes. Men will always look at women on electronic music through a lens of only partial distinction. Same thing with how Puce Mary photos get labeled as Pharmakon. Men are just like "I know it's one or the other, close enough" and change the channel.
