Mario Confirmed As Playable For Bloodborne 2

The deal that made Dark Souls available for Switch is about to go further as From Software and Nintendo confirmed today that Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Toad will all be available as starting characters for their much anticipated Bloodborne sequel.

“We felt that Mario’s jumping skills were a perfect match for our new wave of nearly unbeatable bosses,” said game designer and director Hidetaka Miyazaki, “And after defeating Bowser, Wart, and all the Koopalings, it was time for Mario to take on a greater challenge: The unholy abominations of Yharnam’s sister city of Striiki, where the elder blood plague has mutated the townsfolk into beasts of unfathomable horror and grotesquerie.”
