“Don’t identify yourself with your story of tragedy, your problems, your sorrows…even successes and other failures. Remember your Inner Being, your Inner Divinity, your Inner God, your True Identity, and be done with lamenting over your pitiful, worthless situation. Your ego makes you think and feel that you are something, that you and your problems are something important and real. This is not true. You as ego do not exist and all the problems that belong to the ego and that the ego creates are illusions. Compared to the Truth, which is God, you aren’t relevant and certainly your foolish and insignificant problems are worthless and meaningless. They pass away as smoke does. Just get over them. They’re illusions. Realize the Truth, instead. Remember God. Know God. Know Your Self. The real Self who is the Innermost has no worldly problems, at all. Not one. So, Identify with the Truth and it is as easy as that—to be free from the foolish concerns of mundane earthly life. Just remember God and don’t identify with problems. Remember that death reduces all worldly vanities to ashes, so know this and be done with them.”
