This week on "watching Philip struggle with deadlifts" I hit a single at 435lb beltless. Not really following a structure besides adding 10lbs a week and seeing how long I can go beltless. I am going to be honest friends. Today was a mental challenge. I have not been able to lift like I wanted to for quite some time. Today I felt like getting an accurate measure of how far I have fallen off by pulling 405lb beltless. It was slow, hard, and humbling. I am a little embarrassed. I posted this as motivation to get back at it and as a reminder to myself when I am stronger by the end of this year. I jut have to be patient with myself.
