as much as i love scp as a whole it can be really intimidating to interact with the larger fandom bc of how professional & intellectual it is - which i’m not dissing by any means, it definitely has its place & i enjoy plenty of newer stuff!! it’s just scary to talk to people in an environment like that

Writing about Mallory and I feel bad that I can't get words down on the page the same way I want.

I think her story is one of the most interesting ones too,

She wakes up hundreds possibly thousands of years in the future with the prophecy of how she'd wake up fresh on her mind.

A prophecy that she would wake up by true love, it's something she desperately clings to because without it she has nothing and is lost.

When she wakes up because of Phoena, she realises that her true love that the prophecy spoke of, doesn't believe in prophecies, fate or destiny.

If Mallory wasn't as optimistic, or as strong willed as she is her story could very quickly turn into a horror.
