I think this chapter might occur on the second time line, aka, Lu Guang's first attempt of saving Cheng Xiaoshi.

It's quite obvious that this sequence here is a dream.

This is probably the "punishment" that Vein mentions. He's tormenting Lu Guang because he changed the past. Something that is mentioned in the texts of the trailer.

This implies that he already changed the past and I strongly believe this is the first attempt because of how scared he was by this dream. The Lu Guang we know is way more collected, like someone who already has experience and knows what to expect, but this one doesn't.

Who knows, maybe this season will start showing us what happened in the original time line through Lu Guang's nightmares, taking us through a weird trip until we get to this point of the trailer:
