Wahhhh lmao, I've been reading your spiderman au on ao3 and I think I'm about to cry after that last chapter 🤣 I know it's shiguang focused and they've been really fun as well as Lg and Ql's relationship. I'm going OWO at them but also a fan of all the other aspects such as how seamlessly you blend the canon plotlines into the au; Lx being a scheming weasel; and Lg & Xf bc that whole scene where he fixes Cxs's camera is permanently seared into my brain. it hits all the beats; the Vf interactions, Xf being humble + confident nerd simultaneously, the cheekiness mixed with his *vague wave* enigmatic emotional speeches a le bridon airport. and then you hit us with the absolute DEVIOUS but also pure genius my jaw dropped reveal that he was sent to place spyware in their house. I reread that chapter and he was SO GOOD at acting like a friend like geez. probably bc he hardly has to fake it, just lie about his intentions. I was getting hit by the PAIN au description of Xf. you wrote him as a better villain than the Lc team can dream of. this feels scarily canon...convenient to offer Ql to help cook huh T^T and then the vending machine scene oooh, I was lowkey eyeing his hand in his pocket like hm, is he just standing or is the writer intending smth but I ignored it but WAH it was a call to Vein and that's such a natural and grounded way to make spying simple yet devastating. I wonder if he rlly did want to talk to Lg abt smth important...or was it just an excuse to learn where he'd be? also Cxs's comment of not seeing him on that side of campus, I am so taking notes on your mastery of subtlety. it builds so much suspense and tension. and then Xf's crash out in the lab....oooh hello conflicted anger issues boi. rlly like how you balanced all the sides. it's easy to end up leaning into one side or another instead. lowkey terrified Lg is about to bash his face in for everything :'D esp after s3 showed us how worried and haunted he was over Xf's situation and everybody talking abt how he could relate to Xf's exploitation and. um. sexual harassment concerns considering *gestures toward 'recreational activities.' in the photo.* maybe his verbal beatdown of Jack was also motivated by how he's always had to expose people's dirty secrets for his dad and then that guy strolled in trying to accuse Xf of his own dirty secrets. (which, he might have, but not that kind.) Lg when he gets to turn the horrors of his life into something healing, like using his powers to help with regrets...oh also, the Ltx in the fic was also a fun addition !! wahh, Lx's psychological manipulation, threatening vibes, false righteous savior, and nonchalance is so perfectly mixed. he knew...also wondering if I'm hallucinating or whether all the mentions of bahati and Syy are gonna be relevant to the plot or if its just abt the time travel power they were hunting...

Omgggg 😭 yeah that’s a really early photo, in Bridon we see SYY with purple eyeshadow and hoop earrings. But I’m more insane over the fact that either 1. If you squint, maaaaybe WQ’s new suit has those gloves in trailer #3 so she could be holding it but 2. it could also be XF!! Especially because the text before this says: “the pain hidden by him” then shows CWM with the cages with text reading: “the bonds forgotten by him.” What on earth does XF remember from Bahati, what pain or guilt does he carry 😨 my guess is either LX gave it to him or he noticed the photo in the studio, but it’s not framed so…I think it could be the last scene we see in his PV where he looks down sadly…it has similar lighting? Maybe he’s looking at this. Elephant in the room: is he spying because CWM is a bad man (potential misinfo?) or because he’s trying to hide the fact maybe he caused fire or maybe…because CWM died saving him but he’s ignoring all that in pursuit of if he helps LX’s goals then it can help with his own?

Cheng Xiaoshi's mom looks SO young in here, she probably was. They were what, in their twenties? Maybe thirty at most?
