I get bringing up how mascot horror game antagonists never look like they were actually made to appeal to children is beating a dead horse and I get it is very difficult to successfully pull off a design that balances being unassuming to kids but off-putting to adults, so I don't understand why I almost never see beginner mascot horror game devs do the obvious and just give the mascot two forms to change between. Sure it may come off a little cheap and it'd require an in-universe explanation but it'd be better than having the gaping plot hole of Jimbo Longlegs the 8-foot-tall tarantula with a cavernous maw of razor-sharp teeth and a collection of sunken-in eyes apparently being wildly popular with children

Can DenDen play any instruments? I feel like Jax would teach him the piano.
He tried a lot of instruments, but eventually settled on the violin! Still learning, it's very difficult but he likes challenges.
Jax picks up piano again because he can accompany DenDen so they can play duets! That was also a reason why DenDen chose violin. It goes pretty well with piano.
