the incredible thing abut poor fellow my country is that despite being the longest piece of australian literature, a miles franklin literary award winning book, and, according to randolph snow, an ‘australian classic. perhaps the australian classic,’ no ones fucking heard of it. the wikipedia page has 70 words in the body of it, and the book itself has a cool 150 reviews on goodreads. how did this happen?
