Working hard AND hardly working

I'm not done with the whole archive yet

But I AM half done

I have completed Nadia's, Muriel and almost done Portia's route. They are transcribed to their entirety. All that is left is to construct Portia's route together. And I'm thinking of posting the half of the Arcana archive as is.

As a treat.

Asra is a sea witch glow in the dark mermaid

Portia is a werecat ninja

Lucio is a slutty fallen angel

Nadia is vampire in a swan ballgown

Julian is a tortured Vampire-Werewolf hybrid who is also a pirate

And Muriel is a sheet ghost

This might not seem like a lot, but this first 50% is actually a HUGE chunk of work done. All that's left to do now is fill in all the choices that I couldn't have picked in just one playthrough, do some spell checking(a lot of spell checking, I write fast but vey incorrectly), editing to make it look presentable and cohesive and it'll be done!

Obviously, it wouldn't be all done. I still will have 5 other routes to do. But it'll still be a lot of work done. Work, that will deserve celebration and appreciation!

Here's what the Obsidian file for Nadias route looks like right now. We are sitting at a big number of 93 101 words. Which is already huge considering that not all choices are written down.

For reference the entire prologue was just 22 100 words.

So yeah, I did a lot, and I deserve a pat on the head. That pat on the head is a small break btw. I might not be writing anything out for the rest of October.

You might be worried, or you might not care too much, but eiter way it's Halloween. And I wanna do something Halloweeny. So instead of writing the Arcana I'm gonna draw some Arcana.

I can draw. My muscles better not have forgotten that fact. Stay tuned to find out.

I'm not even close to half done. It's gonna take a big while.

But it's surprisingly a lot more fun and engaging than I thought it would be. Unsurprisingly, I swallow information easier if I both write and read it. So I have been noticing fun details all over. Makes me appreciate the game I love even more.

FINALLY the prologue is done!

I have spent days writing it out, and I have spent 2 editing it. And it's done, and it's clean, and it's beautiful.

I love Obsidian

But I'm not done yet. Not even close. Cuz now it's time to do the routes.

And the first route I'm gonna do is......

In the (as far as I'm aware) beginning stages of the Arcana, Selasi is called just "the baker".

The question is, since I'm doing a word for word rewrite, should I stick to this as his tag? Or should I give him the respect he deserves, as the one responsible for the iconic pumpkin bread and change them all to Selasi?

But better late than never.

Whatever it is, I'm doing it to the Arcana.

As in, I'm going through everything. And writing it down. Every route, every choice, and hopefully every change brought on by the choices (although catching those will be tricky).

I'm not telling anyone what I'm making, tho. Not for a while, at least. But I'm sure as hell making things.

I have two brainworms in my head rn. And I want to express them into art so that they won't bother me as much. But the problem is that I also have a permanent brain cocroach that always makes me do everything as perfectly as inhumaly possible.
