To give you the cliffnotes version, it's a horror ARG about an old Sesame Street style show called Welcome Home, that was super popular in the 70's, but suddenly vanished from the airwaves under mysterious circumstances. The ARG comes into play in the form of a website, created by a team who is trying to gather proof of the shows existence, but there seems to be a sinister force at play within the website itself.

The website has undergone several updates since its inception, almost like seasons of a show. Each update brings a new element of the story to explore. so to get the full experience from the beginning, i recommend watching Night Mind's coverage of the story. (This is an unlisted playlist i made 👌)

I've deadass never been so stoked on a video game in my life holy fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. I am obsessed with this game, I wish I had a computer that could run it :')

"The Thing" is one of my absolute favorite horror movies, and "Still Wakes The Deep" is a perfect love-letter to it. The setting, attention to detail, the building of tension, the music, the monster, god, even the main character is named McLeery, which you cannot tell me is not a direct nod to MacReady.

If you love "The Thing" as much as I do, and wish you could experience what it was like to watch it for the first time again, 10outa10 would recommend playing this game, or at the very least, watching MrKravin play it on YouTube. MrKravin specifically, because he currently LIVES in Scotland, where this game takes place, so his perspective is [chefs kiss]
