Ilya Silchukov had rediscovered the essence of opera and gave it a further modern look. True classic, as his signature, suits his personality best. Loved by many, his charming and elegant, robust and tender baritone with outstanding precision and scope is continuously transforming into a pungent and seizing voice. Ilya Silchukov was born in Minsk, Belarus in 1982 and debut his career as Eugene Onegin by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky at the Belarus National Academic Opera And Ballet Theatre in 2005. He was called “master of voice” and “a person who reaffirms long established classical riches” (Belarus Today) and became one of the most recognized, next generation, opera singers in Belarus and abroad. Ever since his debut he is performing all over the Europe and shared his appearance at Frankfurt Oper, Teatro Dell’ Opera di Roma, Slovenske Narodne Divadlo Bratislava, Narodne Divadlo Brno, Estonian State Opera, Vorarlberger Landestheater Bregenz, Perm’ State Opera. His academic and vocal achievements had shown his preparedness and alert of a true opera singer.
