i write mostly for heian-era / true form sukuna, who has entirely become my muse. somehow, something about him sits naturally with the things i love. flowers, poetry, intimacy that builds slowly and aches a little.

phyx!! youre so sweet, thank you!! this sudden bout of sukuna art has been so random but im not mad at it lol. ive been possessed.

hehe, im actually in my final year at art school 🫣 ive always loved art, and dabbled forever, but ive been totally committed the last few years. oil paints are like... my everything. digital has honestly been such a weird transition!! I genuinely find it more difficult than working traditionally. im still trying to get the hang of it!! and I never usually gravitate to drawing people, but sukuna has single-handedly made me abandon that rule lol.

ive been using clip studio and I really enjoy it compared to procreate. I think it’s the interface and ive found some daub brush packs I love, and im also obsessed with the default gouache brush 👀 you should definitely try it out if you havent!!

Also, im like 90% sure ur story is as long as the bible…i just downloaded it on my ipad so i can read it offline and girl theres so many pages (look at the bottom, theres like 1200 pages)

aww, thanks so much 😭 this is so lovely to read. im so glad you’ve been enjoying all of Sukuna’s nuances. he’s been so fun to explore. that latest chapter was incredibly special to me for exactly the reason you mentioned… nearly 600k words in and we finally get to that moment. that’s what makes it feel so earned and so delicious to write.

this whole fic has really been built on that quiet character growth. both of them being unmade and remade by each other in small but irreversible ways. so when we hit chapters like the latest, it lands with that much more weight. it honestly still shocks me how much has come out of these two, and even more that people are this invested in their evolution. its the best surprise every time!!

ive had this fic in the works for a long time!! more than half was basically ready to post when I first started uploading. but I have been spending a lot of time with these later chaps and refining/making sure we get the ending and pay off we deserve!! I hope youre excited for whats to come!!

eek! a distant thunder was actually a long time in the making. I spent an ages mulling over it/planning/writing for like.. nearly a year before I even bothered to start posting. I used to post fics for a different fandom in the past, and it would stress me out not having all my chaps/content ready. so the reason this has been so enjoyable for me was because I sat with it for a long time and let it... marinate. lol.

I do have a series attached do a distant thunder planned. chaps from sukuna's pov. moments we didnt see in the main fic. some parts from his perspective. and then I also plan to just add in one off chaps that explore certain ideas/moments with sukuna/mc too!! im not ready to let go of them, I worked so hard lol.
