Seriously tho i am kind of bent that in the discussion of general nonhumanity people who are at active risk of medical incarceration or religious abuse tend to be completely overlooked despite that very likely being a wide demographic of us.
I cant even tell some family about my baseline well known neurodivergentcies, you think I can fucking tell them im God/A Fiction Character let alone like, dozens of them? When I first tried to come put as just plural I received immediate harsh discipline from every single authority figure in my life.
I advocate for it and I admire the people who can be, but being openly nonhuman is a real safety risk for me. Itās frustrating. I cannot ājust be more openā and it is not a matter of feeling any less nonhuman.

I wish therianthropy wasnāt SUCH an online based thing nowadays. I mean socially, it almost has to be since itās kinda rare to find others irl. But I wish we embraced offline life a bit more, being animals and all. Unplug, get outdoors if even just a little bit; and with the younger therians I feel like thereās this pressure to record and post *everything* and thatās pretty unfortunate (I would know, having been in this mindset in the past). Not every outing has to go online guys, even if youāre in gear, do it for yourself.
I actually saw a few individuals who were wearing tails at a pride event. this doesn't inherently mean they were therians, but they very well could have been.
No one should ever be ashamed of their theriotype or kintype, quite plainly, it just isnāt something you can control.

It is deeply deeply harmful and unhealthy to feel shame about things out of your control, or to be expected to feel shame your whole life especially about something out of your control.
If anyone says otherwise they are unhinged and untrustworthy and frankly more of a danger to real living people right now than you will ever be.
Telling people they should feel ashamed of things they have no power over is abusive behavior. Fullstop.

it's interesting to examine how much being black has influenced my identity in multiple areas, including my nonhumanity. I saw somebody bring up how isolating and dehumanizing it is to grow up around predominantly white people as a black kid, and it made me think: that almost definitely attributed to the trauma of not fitting in. not only was I an autistic queer kid, I was the black kid, and the allistic white kids had their ways of isolating me from their circles. sneaky ways that the adults tried to hide from my mom to make me look like I fabricated everything to make the poor little white kids look bad. of course I developed a disconnect from humanity when not even the white adults made me feel wanted.
I've thought about this a few times, but every so often it'll hit me again.

Supporting physical nonhumans and delusional nonhumans means you have to accept them.
So many people say they support physical and delusional nonhumans. But, supporting them means that you have to actually accept and include them in alterhuman spaces and discussions.
Supporting means stop saying shit like āas long as physical therians know their human its fineā. Some don't, some arent human in any way and they know they aren't. They shouldn't have to āknow their humanā to be considered valid. They shouldn't have to admit to being something they're not.
You are not them. Who are you to claim that what they experience is fake or invalid? Just because their reality is different from yours doesnt mean its any less real or valid.
You need to stop being fake.
Support them because they deserve your support, not because others are doing it too. Support them because they are misunderstood, or not even known about. Support them because they are a part of our community!
