omg i love to be remembered/thought of for this lol yessss rayanne would have THRIVED as a girl kisser, in the show or after. it's like the thought of queerness is just below the surface waiting to be scratched but has never actually occurred to her despite saying she's unemotional about + not obsessed with boys. in a really repressed 90s way maybe she sees rickie and thinks this is what gay is and she looks at herself and identifies so hard with being a "slut" for boys that she thinks she's "tried every kind of person" when she's tried 50% at most. like darling. there's a whole other world waiting for you.

there's her very obvious thing for angela throughout the season (i agree!!!) and rayanne's mom even naming it as being "in love" with angela. then we get the sharon thing, which you can choose to interpret in a queer way or not, but i really enjoy that sharon seems to like and care for rayanne despite herself. it's like she doesn't want to give rayanne any of her time because rayanne IS the self sabotaging flake that sharon always knew she was... but sharon's feelings are out of her control. she forgives her anyway. delicious ship material imo. but there are other moments too. i once planned on making a gifset of all her gay moments lmao i just never did. she calls attention to other girls' bodies a lot for a straight girl. i think(?) she even called one girl hot and gave another girl "best butt" in the ranking ep aslkfjsad

i've mentioned this before, but the show once and again was written and produced by a number of the same people as mscl so already the shows feel like they're in the same universe a little bit, but there's a queer storyline in the third season of o&a that is so angela and rayanne if angela and rayanne were romantic and requited. regular good girl meets queer girl with manic pixie energy and has her world rocked.
