ㅤThe problem for Trey, however, is that his strength for baking is precision. And just exactly, how can he measure ingredients perfectly while blindfolded? But don’t underestimate him; he’s still confident!

ㅤ“This is going better than expected,” Trey says, cracking an egg into a bowl, narrowly missing.

ㅤMeanwhile, Y/N is watching as eggshell pieces fall into the mixing bowl. “...You sure?”

ㅤ“I choose to believe so, yes.” - Trey.

ㅤAce, even without being able to speak, is already a problem himself. He yaps all the time. The second the challenge starts, Ace opens his mouth. In return, everyone reminds him that he can’t talk.

ㅤHe spends most of the challenge doing dramatic faces and waving his arms around. Hitting Deuce in the back a couple of times.

ㅤDeuce is looking at Ace, confused, when he (Ace) points at the flour. Deuce hands him sugar, Ace is annoyed.

ㅤ“What?! You pointed at the container!” - Deuce, Ace facepalms.

ㅤHis solution to not being able to talk is to use charades, and it still backfires on him. He gives up almost immediately.

ㅤEveryone thinks that Headphones are the easiest role, but they are not wrong! Since hearing about the challenge, Deuce has been very determined to do well. He takes baking extremely seriously after all.

ㅤEven as Ace and Trey try to guide him as much as they can, Deuce still cannot understand anything. Ace points at the oven; Deuce gives him a thumbs up. Ace frantically points at the oven, Deuce, not trying to, yells. “I know, man! This is so easy!!!”

ㅤDeuce mishears everything Trey tries to say. He hears “flour” as “flower” and ends up searching for five minutes for any flowers.

ㅤDeuce lives in his own world of peacefully mixing batter; he thinks everyone is doing great!

ㅤIn the end, he gets really happy about being the only one who did great. He tries to act cool about it, but he fails.

ㅤEveryone knows this is going to be the hardest challenge for him. Getting Sebek to stay quiet is already impossible.

ㅤY/N, “Sebek, you can’t speak for the challenge!”

ㅤ“I UNDERSTAND-” Sebek starts, but Y/N hushes him before he can continue.

ㅤThe first five minutes are painful for him. Sebek tries to communicate through pointing and his facial expression. It works for Jack at least! Epel… not so much. Sebek pointed at eggs, and Epel doesn’t even know he’s “talking” to him.

ㅤThe biggest struggle for Sebek is the need to want to correct everything everyone is doing. His eye keeps twitching whenever he sees Jack mixing 1.009 seconds too slowly.

ㅤHe does, however, follow instructions very carefully, doing good at baking.

ㅤImmediately says, "I trust you guys!!" The biggest mistake he ever said.

ㅤEpel is excited! He gets to show off his skills after all. When baking, he tries to calculate where everything should be; hence, he stared long and hard at the kitchen layout beforehand.

ㅤHe eventually gets competitive and refuses to admit he’s struggling.

ㅤDespite everything, Epel is pretty good at adapting. He just uses his other senses to figure things out, also stubborn enough that he refuses to quit.

ㅤEpel, through out baking, occasionally puts icing on everything but the cake.

jack howl

ㅤJack puts on headphones is the chilliest person in the room that’s baking.

ㅤHe randomly gives Epel and Sebek thumbs-ups even if they weren’t doing well or needed them.

Whenever Sebek tries the charades him ingredients he needs, Jack is pretty good at catching on.

ㅤConstantly asks Y/N if he's using the mixer correctly.

ㅤHowever, during the rest of the baking, even if Epel and Sebek have trouble, he’s completely unaware. He doesn’t even understand why everyone looks exhausted afterward!

ㅤAnd yes, he carried the whole team.

ㅤEspecially going off of what Leona said about RSA, I feel as though RSA would have an equal number of fights as NRC has. Because the school has a reputation for producing "model students", there will definitely be some who go there who deserve to go to NRC. (no shade)

ㅤRSA would host a lot of public events, I feel. Given how "good-spirited" the school is run compared to NRC, events would include things like: festivals, charity fundraisers, maybe even tournaments that are dorm against dorm?

✦⋆ ࣪ MC .

ㅤOff the bat, obviously MC, would be way more different than the NRC one we know and love. MC would be more optimistic, BECAUSE, of the students at RSA and how they are optimistic naturally.

ㅤMC, when first hearing about overblots, would find them weird. Not in a "I've never seen this before" weird, but a weird as in "do they always have tantrums when they don't get their way"? This one mayyy be a bit controversial, but since people from NRC are known to be "dramatic" and or "evil" to the people of RSA, it wouldn't NOT be possible!

ㅤPrince Rielle definitely gives the students of his dorm the most headaches because of how energetic he is.

ㅤBecause Prince Rielle left home to experience the surface world, I can imagine MC teaching him 'humary-customs'. Like not assuming everyone has magic (haha).

"MC! This guy wants to challenge me! Well... time to turn you into a fish!"

"Rielle, he doesn't have magic-!"

ㅤLike Princess Ariel, Rielle also collects random objects from 'the surface world'. For example, he has a broken lamp in his room because he thought it was, in his words, "fascinatingly amazing!" (sparkle sparkle)

ㅤTeachers at RSA constantly lecture him to act "princely" at his constant displays of energy and extreme interest in things. Dragging MC into it with him.

ㅤRielle, also, I reckon, is the type of person to be blind if someone dislikes him. Thus, he says he's "friends" with a lot of people at NRC.

ㅤAs the dorm leader of Marinafinne, everyone sings and wears elaborate outfits every day. (Everyone in Marinafinne is theater kids basically!)

ㅤWhen Rielle and MC first met, he assumed that MC was one of his admirers trying to break into the school. In turn, he got very confused when MC didn't seem to know who he was.

ㅤRielle LOVESS, fishing for compliments. Rielle complains to MC whenever they give attention to someone else, only because he loves being given compliments! So, why is his favorite human praising someone while he's right here?!

ㅤHe's smart. Everyone knows that. The birds who visit RSA know that.

ㅤSince Minajael is the type of person to value freedom and un-restrictive traditions, Dunasmina probably has the least amount of order of all the dorms. Constantly having music blast along with students who are bickering a ton. He secretly enjoys it.

ㅤHe's similar to Jamil, where he thinks that he's surrounded by idiots (haha). Minajael and Jamil WILL be having the most intense conversations ever.

ㅤMinajael acts annoyed whenever Rielle does something ridiculous, but never makes an effort to actually stop him.

ㅤIs 100% in the RSA debate club.

ㅤAt first, when MC arrived, Minajael pretended that he wasn't interested in them at first. But, unfortunately for him, he somehow always ended up sitting next to them during lunch.

ㅤHaving a great memory, Minajael remembers tiny details about MC and certain things they like, even down to the smallest detail.

ㅤWhenever MC looks like they need help with something, Minajael volunteers without them even asking. Chenya definitely teases him for being so nice to MC.

ㅤNeige would invite MC for tea often, maybe even shopping? As a popular actor and influencer, he has to share his wealth somehow!

ㅤThus, everybody and their mom knows Neige. Even random people on the street go up to RSA students and ask for their autographs.

ㅤHe's genuinely kind, but people will often underestimate him just because he's cute. Even his kindness is his greatest weapon.

ㅤNeige is the type of person who sends "thank-you!" notes after receiving gifts and remembers EVERYONE'S names.

ㅤAs the dorm leader of Charblanche, Neige would make it a dorm custom that everyone knows how to bake, volunteers often, and makes everything positive!

ㅤNeige, quite literally, "adopts" MC, almost immediately at first meeting! He introduces them to everyone, quite obviously valuing his new friend.

ㅤWhenever MC is seen having a bad day, Neige checks in throughout the day, volunteering with whatever they need help with.

ㅤHe LOVESS hearing about MC's world and asks endlessly about it!

ㅤDuring the VDC performance, when MC complimented him for winning, he got easily flustered while sharing how everyone else worked just as hard.

"Ah! Me? My performance was nothing, MC! You should've seen how hard everyone else worked..."

ㅤRSA students are used to him disappearing randomly. He can even be seen in weird places inside classrooms, for example, on the ceiling.

ㅤIs like RSA's version of "Gossip Girl" because he knows everyone's secrets.

ㅤChenya, like he does to everyone, appears randomly behind MC with no warning every day. MC even becomes used to it and stops reacting to his sudden appearances.

ㅤDuring lunch, Chenya loves stealing snacks from them and acts offended whenever MC says he has to "get them something in return!"

ㅤChenya loves making everyone, including MC, laugh. He claims to Rielle that getting a genuine laugh from them (MC) was his biggest accomplishment. And yes, Chenya does laugh at Rielle's annoyed face.

ㅤHe randomly leaves conversations if he's feeling bored, and then resumes them later on.

ㅤChenya, despite his careless-playful self, always knows whenever MC or anyone is upset before anyone else. Whenever someone asks how, he just grins and says "I don't know~."

The first time you heard Rielle laugh, you were standing ankle-deep in a fountain at Royal Sword Academy, trying hard to not look like you had been startled by a surprising flock of birds.

He, to your dismay, noticed anyway.

“Were you trying to catch one?” he’d ask, eyes shining brightly with curiosity as his head tilted toward the sky. The silver fork in his hair reflecting against the sun as well, “Because I think they escaped!”

You blinked at him. Rielle stood there with that honey-sunlit kind of smile that he always wore. And you’ve seen it, but, Oh-my. How lovely it was to see it up close. Like he had never once worried about anything in his life. That smile was so impactful it almost felt like you stood close to a warm window.

I wasn’t trying to catch a bird,” you said. “I was trying to avoid them…”

“Oh!” He looked shocked for half a second, red hair whipping around his shoulders, as if this was a problem. Then his face lit up again. “That’s fair- but you do seem like someone who would try very hard at catching stuff!”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

He ignored your comment. “Like a fish, maybe~ Oh! Or a falling star.. or someone’s heart!”

By his last comment, you nearly dropped the ribbon box- that you were saving from the water.

Rielle’s face only looked happily-unfazed, like he always makes comments like these to everyone. “Did I say something strange?”

“Yes,” you said, your voice coming out much weaker than you intended. “Very strange.”

“Hm.. good!” He clasped his hands behind his back and leaned in just a little. “I came all this way to find more interesting things this surface has. ‘Strange’ seems interesting!”

And that’s how it all started.

Rielle showed up wherever you happened to be, his mouth always full of questions or ideas. That he’d then say with enough enthusiasm to make you think along with him.

He wanted to know how garden’s stayed so colorful, why library’s had to be silent, and whether tea tasted better if you shared it with someone.

He answered the last one himself with an excited, “yes!”

You found him sitting on the steps outside the courtyard one evening, carefully balancing a cup in both hands. Inspecting it like it was treasure. The sun was setting, painting the end of his red hair an orangy-color. Walking around the beach near the school, and he looked very pleased with his discovery of this cup.

His eyes shifted focus. “I found you!” he announced, sparking joy at seeing your presence.

You chuckled. “You make it sound like I was hiding from you.”

“Were you not?”

“I was just taking a walk.”

“Then I found you while you were walking,” he said, like that settled everything. “That still counts!”

Rielle then sat on the end of one of the docks. You sat beside him, and for a while you both didn’t say anything. From afar, you could see how the campus was noisy and bussling. But Rielle seemed to not notice, or care.

Finally, he took out a second cup from his pocket, toward you. “Look what I found!”

It was pristine porcelain cup with flower and pearl designs, you remember seeing it before, but you don’t know where.

“Looks familiar…”

He looked surprised at your statement. His blue-ish teal eyes widening greatly, “You don’t remember?”

“Remember?”

There was one thing about him, Rielle was always full of brightness, always chasing after the next thing to wonder, it would cause him to loose track of past events. But instead, it took a turn. His eyes were focused on you, to him you felt like the most interesting thing in his line of sight.

He cleared his throat, stopping his eyes from trailing yours, “Maybe you don’t remember… but I saw you and Azul talk at VDC. You were talking about your favorite tea, weather… Gosh. I even remember how your sleeves were tucked when-”

What he remembered seemed almost unreal, very.

“Rielle,” you said, turning the tea cup in your hands, “why do you seem so determined to find me?”

He looked back at you for a moment, then he smiled, softer this time, not like any you’ve seen. Eyebrows trailing in a “U” shape in progress.

“Because I like being where you are,” he said simply. “And because every time I think I’ve caught up to you, you do something clever and make me want to follow again…”

Your face quickly grew hot, certainly obvious.

And of course, Rielle noticed anyway. “Oh,” he said, sounding delighted. “There it is!”

“There is what?”

“That expression!” He leaned closer, stars sparkling in his eyes. “The same one you had that time! I think I’m close!”

“Close to what?”

“Catching your heart!”

You chocked on air, legs uncrossing.

Rielle laughed. Bright and very unbothered, while you just stared at him in disbelief. He looked so proud of himself, he has the kind of confidence that makes his teasing feel like he’s “challenging” you.

“You are impossible,” you said.

“Then you’ll have to keep up!” He stood up before you could even reply, offering you a hand as he stands dynamically. “Come on! Let’s play sea-tag!”

You narrowed your eyes, “Tag?”

“Mm-hm. Whatever you land-folk say!” His smile turned playful again. “You run, I’ll come after you. Winner get’s to ask whatever question, I played this a lot in middle school, you know?”

You laughed, “Oh really? Never heard about this sort of tag.”

He then thought seriously. “Land-folk seem to not love chasing this much…”

“Well, chasing to ask something is not much of a prize.”

“It is if the prize gets me close to you!” Rielle almost shouted, his red long hair waving against the beach-wind.

The word landed too hard, they made you feel special. Like something small and shiny. Rielle didn’t seem embarrassed by what he said. He only waited with his hand still outstretched.

So, you took his hand.

His long fingers closed around yours with gentleness- and then he ran off. Pulling you with him off the deck, across the beach, and on to the RSA walkway. He laughed when you struggled to keep up, you laughing too, because somehow chasing after him felt easier than just standing.

He looked back at you with the same smile. “You’re fast!”

“You started first!”

“Yeah, but I’m still winning!”

“Rielle!”

He only laughed harder.

By the time you finally caught him, both of you were crouching breathless and grinning under one of the campus trees. He turned to you, and for one quiet moment, the world seemed to pause for him.

“I heard you’re very athletic… Have you been wanting me to catch you?” You realized, he hadn’t been trying at all, he was waiting for you to win.

“And?” he asked softly, “What if that’s true?”

You looked at him, the sparkle in his eyes, the way it looked like his hand wanted to reach out again.

Then you smiled, laughing, “You’re very difficult, Prince Rielle..”

Rielle’s expression went delighted that you laughed. “Then I’ll keep playing this way!” he promised, squeezing your hand once before letting go just enough to bow dramatically. “After all, a heart like yours must be difficult to catch, no matter how athletic someone is.”

You tilted your head. “What if I catch yours first?”

He blinked, his face then beaming just like the sunset over the sea.

“Then you’re much better at this than I am!”
