so we had to go to a private dentist, because getting an emergency appointment was taking too long and we weren't getting anything but 'no. call back tomorrow'. i had to spend my last bit of my wages on this ffs (£94.50 is crazy idec). anyway, the dentist was understanding of my anxiety and dental trauma and was actually really sweet to me. she ended up shaving my tooth pretty far down because of how it was cracked, and put a filling in. and now i have been referred to an nhs dental surgery to get it removed in 3-5 months (i'm really hoping for IV sedation when that shit happens). i did panic a little last night, because the pain came back for a while. but i haven't had any pain, besides my jaw being a little achy since then, so i am just so relieved that i can finally get some goddamn sleep. i wouldn't wish the pain i was having on my worst enemy. i am so glad it is over (for now), despite being broke for the next 3 weeks lol.
