one of the things that drives me nuts abt media analysis of any kind is you may be criticizing the representation of Something and ppl argue with "um but that happens irl for real" and it's like did i ever say it didn't?? what i'm saying is that i find its portrayal questionable. i'm criticizing the decision to portray something and in a specific way, not the veracity of certain events

You ever think about many peices of media have zero women and thats just perfectly normal but if a peice of media has an all female cast people get... like that? Women should be allowed to kill over this btw
