To be honest I’ve never thought about that before. I think it would be pretty funny to picture Kiawe loathing the cold especially since you never see him with a shirt on. It’d be funny to picture him shivering like crazy and huddling around you for a source of warmth. It’s funny imagining him acting like a baby when it’s freezing out and complaining about how awful it is and he just wants to go back home.

Guzma:

His first response when you tell him you’re afraid of pokemon is for him to bust out laughing. He thinks you’re joking and man does he think it’s hilarious.

Once he realizes you’re serious he just gets really confused. How have you made it so far through your life without getting over your fear of pokemon? He’s confused and surprised.

To ease you into it, he has one of his grunts show off one of their more ‘cute’ pokemon so it wouldn’t scare you off. The Rattatta is almost as timid as you are. Guzma stays close by as you casually reach out to touch the Rattatta on its head.

“See they’re not so bad,” Guzma says before letting his Golisopod out of its pokeball for you to go on to the next level. You were not prepared for the huge bug pokemon to tower over you. Now Guzma is helping you get over a panic attack.

The first pokemon he helps you catch is absolutely a Wimpod. He thinks it’s a perfect fit since you’re a ‘scaredy cat too’. Besides, it’s cute to have matching pokemon.

Kukui:

You’re not the first person he’s had to help get over the fear of pokemon. He’s had a lot of experience helping children as well as some adults get over their fear.

Kukui remains professional the whole time and gives you encouragement throughout the whole process. He’s your own personal cheerleader.

The first pokemon he presents to you is his favorite Rockruff. It’s very friendly towards you and despite how excited it is, it remains patient while waiting for you to make the first move. Once you’ve gotten used to the small pokemon, it licks your face happily.

The professor introduces you to more and more pokemon, taking small steps until you’re comfortable around scarier looking pokemon. He believes the process should take a long time over the course of days.

The first pokemon he helps you catch is a Yungoos.

Gladion:

He’s slightly surprised when you confess your fear. Sure he had his suspicions from seeing how you react to pokemon, but he had to hear it from your mouth to believe it.

He reassures you that it’s not strange to fear pokemon. After all they can be dangerous at times.

Gladion knows a Zubat isn’t the best pokemon to start off with but unfortunately that’s the best he could do. He was sure that his Type: Null would scare you a lot more than a Zubat.

He really tries his best to help you get over your fear and tell you facts about how they rarely hurt humans. He believes it’s better to inform you on the subject.

Nanu:

Going back and seeing where he lives I noticed there’s not really a bed there at all besides for his Meowth’s. So you’re stuck laying on top of him in the couch with your head resting on his chest.

Nanu keeps his eyes shut, wrapping an arm around you and keeping you close in order to ‘warm you up’. Well at least that’s what he said. Regardless you’re grateful for the warmth enveloping you from both your lover and the fuzzy blanket on top.

It doesn’t take long before the Meowth’s are starting to feel the cold from outside with the heater broken and no longer keeping the building warm.

Before you know it, one by one the Meowths are coming over to you and Nanu all huddled up. You don’t even protest as they each curl up on top of you or above your heads or below your feet. It just adds to the warmth.

The purring coming from the Meowths only lulls you into a nap as you snuggle up closer against your lover. You can’t see the small smile on his face.

This moment is purely heaven to him considering he’s surrounded and cuddling with the person and pokemon he loves the most.

Kukui:

It really upsets you how every single time you pester him to put more clothes on he’ll just laugh, ruffle your hair, and then pretend that you didn’t say anything.

“It’s always hot in Alola [Name].” “We’re on Mount Lanakila. It’s below freezing temperature here!” “Haha!”

You’re not even sure why he’s wearing his lab coat when he’s not wearing any shirt underneath. Seriously what’s even the point? Why is he like this?

At this point he goes out of his way to avoid you as soon as he sees you. After the last time you forcefully attempted to put a shirt on him he’s not as keen to have the “put some damn clothes on already!” conversation.

You’ve never been exasperated as when Professor Burnet said she prefers seeing her husband without a shirt on when you mention that he should put more clothes on. Cue the couple complimenting and flirting with each other the next hour.

Gladion:

Gladion’s eyes are narrowed at the pokemon that stands behind the two of you. You remain completely unaware of the scheming pokemon, instead focusing on the movie playing on the television screen before you.

At one point Gladion had been interested in the movie, but your Lurantis had been acting particularly suspicious. It was only when the bug pokemon winked at him and gestured directly at you did he understand what the Lurantis had been trying to do. The boy decided to ignore it and instead focus on the movie instead.

The last thing he wanted was for the pokemon to see the blush rising to his cheeks.

Gladion glanced at you out of the corner of his eye, watching the anticipation on your face. You looked so adorable right now. Wow your lips looked so sof- NO this was not the time to be thinking about that Gladion reminded himself before forcing himself to focus on the screen once again.

The poor boy flinched when he felt your Lurantis nudge his side. He glared back at the pokemon, trying to tell it to stop with his eyes alone. Apparently it wasn’t working because Lurantis continued nudging his side, urging him to move closer to you. Wait did it just roll its eyes at him?!

Gritting his teeth, Gladion scooted closer to you. You looked at him in surprise when you felt his leg press against yours. When had he gotten that close? Looking closer you could see that his face had turned pink.

You quickly looked away, feeling your own face turn pink. Deciding to be bold you let your hand brush against his. You’re pleasantly surprised when he intertwines his fingers with yours.

You can’t stop the smile spreading across your face when you rest your head against his shoulder and he doesn’t move away.

Guzma:

Guzma snaps awake and sits up in bed when you call his name and repeatedly poke at him. His hand clamps around your wrist, honestly frightening you for a moment. He curses when he realizes it’s you and you quickly explain that you had a nightmare.

With a sigh, the big man scoots over and lifts up the covers in the bed. “Well come here then,” he gestures to the spot in the bed next to him. You graciously slip in beside him, happily snuggling up to your lover.

“Thank you,” you peck him on the lips. You can’t see the blush on his face through the darkness.

“Yeah yeah. You can sleep with me whenever you want you know. It doesn’t just have to be when you have a nightmare,” he wraps an arm around your waist to pull you closer. Being so close and feelings his warmth gives you a strong sense of safety you’re grateful for.

If you’re still scared from your nightmare, Guzma will stay up with you until you fall asleep first. Then he’ll do the same.

Kiawe:

If you wake up Kiawe after having a nightmare, the poor man will be super groggy and it’ll take him a few moments to become clear headed. After realizing this isn’t a dream he’ll ask you what’s wrong, the concern obvious in his voice. Once you explain you had a nightmare, he’ll invite you to lay with him in bed.

For a while he’ll talk to you about what happened during the day and what you might want to do on a date in the near future. He’s doing his best to keep your mind off your nightmare until it’s completely forgotten.

Kiawe is fully prepared to cuddle in order to comfort you. He’ll hold you without hesitating if it’ll make you feel safe.

He prefers to sleep on the side of the bed that’s closest to the door in case anything or anyone that could hurt you comes in.

Honestly Kiawe is such a good boyfriend. He’ll literally play with your hair the entire night until you fall back to sleep again. Either that or he’ll rub your back in order to soothe you.

Kiawe:

When you tell him that you’re pregnant and he’ll stare at you in complete shock. “Are you sure?” he asks which doesn’t help calm your nerves. You show him the three different pregnancy tests that all have the same result showing that you were in fact pregnant.

You’re surprised when he suddenly picks you up in his arms and is twirling you around with the biggest smile on his face. He hesitantly sets you back down on the ground when you shout in surprise for him to stop, but even then he doesn’t let go of you.

He’s super excited to become a father and is fully prepared to teach his son or daughter how to dance. Oh he can already imagine what it’ll be like watching them catch their first pokemon and seeing their first dance recital. At this point you’re sure he’s more excited about you being pregnant than he is.

To your dismay, Kiawe takes on another job so that he can provide for you and your child. You don’t get to see him as often as before, but when you do he’s always pampering you and showing you how much he loves you.

If you’re not married already, you better believe he’s proposing to you as soon as possible. Seriously he probably went out to get a ring the same day you confessed you were pregnant. He doesn’t want to ruin your reputation from him getting you pregnant before marriage.

A few tears escape from Kiawe’s eyes as he holds his child for the first time. He’s never felt so much joy and pride in his life. He decided to let you name the child. He claimed that he gets to name the second child.

Even after giving birth Kiawe’s taking care of you as much as when you were pregnant. He’s perfectly happy to take care of the baby when you’re too tired.

Kiawe nearly cries the first time he sees his child trying to mimic his dance moves. They’re barely two and he’s just so excited. He calls for you to come see what your child is doing.

Guzma:

Neither of you had been aware of the oncoming storm. Instead you were both too focused on your battle, training to get stronger. Neither of you saw the clouds above turning gray until the entire sky was covered with the dark clouds.

Only when you had finished the Pokemon battle and returned your beloved Pokemon to their pokeballs did you feel the wet drops of rain pelt against your skin.

It started off as a light drizzle, allowing you and Guzma to find some place to wait out the rain if it go any heavier. Unexpectedly, the drizzle increased to pouring rain until you and the Team Skull Boss were soaked thoroughly. You could barely see in front of you past the harsh, pelting rain that fell heavy from the sky.

In the end Guzma was the one who pulled you towards the cave the two of you had passed earlier. You were entirely grateful to get out of the rain, moving further into the cave, but still close enough to the entrance. The last thing you wanted to do right now was to fight wild Pokemon or other trainers hiding further in.

“Hey quit shivering like that. Just looking at ya makes me feel cold,” Guzma said, leaning against the cave wall. You hadn’t even realized how badly you were shaking from the cold. Now your clothes clung to your body, soaked and uncomfortable. It almost felt worse than being outside.

“Sorry,” you mutter, rubbing your arms in an attempt to warm yourself up.

His sigh in response was ridiculously loud, as if pretending to be more annoyed than he actually was. “Just c’mere already.”

You didn’t understand what he meant to do, but regardless you walked over to the larger male until you were standing in front of him. He rolled his eyes before grabbing your arm and tugging you so that you fell forward against him.

Guzma practically radiated pure warmth, enough so that you didn’t complain about his strange actions. You decided not to comment about it. If he really wanted to be close to you all he had to do was ask.

“Thank you,” you smile before nuzzling your face against his chest. His hold on you tightened and you could feel his body tense against you.

“Yeah, yeah just don’t tell anyone,” he frowned, urging the blush on his face to go away. At least the cave was dark enough that you wouldn’t be able to make out the blush if you looked at him.

Ilima:

He keeps a picture of you as his screensaver. There are countless pictures in his room of the two of you together. It’s embarrassing to you how often he keeps taking pictures of you but you just can’t deny him.

He’s that one significant other that constantly compliments you. It can really be a confidence booster with his constant praise.

I really hope you’re into PDA because this Pokemon trainer loves touching you. He’s always asking to hold your hand or offering hugs. He’ll peck you on the lips whenever you win a battle because ‘you’re just too cute when you smile after you win’.

All of his family members adore you and are constantly inviting you over for dinner to eat with the whole family. Ilima is mortified when his family teases him about how cute the two of you are together and “So when are you two getting married?”. He apologizes profusely afterwards.

Every other time he sees you he’ll give you some berries for your pokemon to hold. Occasionally he’ll offer some special stones including dawn, leaf, and fire stones as well as others when he finds a few.

Without a doubt he’s your number 1 fan and ultimate supporter.

Kiawe:

Oh he won’t hesitate to get in the way if he catches someone bullying you. If he catches a member of team skull being mean to you he will pulverize them in a Pokemon battle immediately. They won’t stand a chance.

He’s always watching out for them and suggests that you battle him often in order to become stronger. It’s good practice for the both of you. He can’t tell you how proud he is when you beat him each time.

When he’s too busy with training or working he’ll ask Mallow or Lana to watch over you when he can’t. Kiawe’s very grateful that you all get along so well.

Seriously if someone picked a fight with you physically he can literally beat them up without breaking a sweat. From all the physical exertion he goes through from hard work and his dances, he’s very muscular. Whoever hurts you is going to be hecked up.

It’s sweet how often he wants to hang out with you which benefits him in several ways. On one hand he gets to be with you and on the other hand he’s able to protect you from any threats that may appear.

Hau:

This poor boy is so nervous as he gathers up the courage to ask you out on a date. Really it shouldn’t be that hard. After all, he asks you to get Malasadas with him often. It’ll be just like every other time, but this time… different.

You could barely understand what Hau was saying from how fast he was talking. You noticed the blush on his face when you asked him to slow down and repeat what he said.

“Let’s go get Malasadas?” he said, making it seem more like a question. Normally he’d just drag you to the nearest Malasada shop.

“Uh sure,” you gave your friend a weird look. How could you not be concerned over how odd he was acting all of the sudden.

Upon entering the Malasada shop and ordering your food, Hau seemed much more relaxed than a few minutes before. His usual grin was once again plastered on his face as he dug into his giant Malasada. You didn’t understand how he managed to eat the entire thing by himself.

Hau was delighted when you offered him the rest of your unfinished Malasada. Once there was no more food left, the tension from before came back.

“Hey, let’s take a walk to settle our stomachs,” Hau suggested, getting up from his seat and walking out of the restaurant in a hurry. You followed behind him, slightly alarmed by his change in mood. It was obvious something was wrong despite the smile on his face.

The two of you walked in silence for a while. You didn’t want to force him to open up to you. It would be better if he told you what was on his mind first.

“I really like you a lot [Name],” he blurted out, suddenly turning to you. You nearly ran into him from his sudden stop.

“I like you a lot too Hau” his face was bright red at this point.

“No, I mean I like you more than a friend.” “I know that’s what you meant.” “Oh-” The grin on his face was infectious and soon you were grinning back just as wide.

While writing this I imagined that one scene (I think from Parks and Recs???) with Plumeria mouthing “Not guilty” to Guzma and him saying “Hot milky”. I really hope someone has drawn that meme already. -Mod Clefa

Guzma:

He takes action without thinking. Before you know it, your face is pressed against his shirt and his arms are wrapped tightly around you in a hug.

His first thought is that he should probably compliment you. It ends up being like that one scene from Mulan. You know the one. “Um- You fight…. really, uh… good?” He’s really bad at this and he’s panicking too much to really think straight.

While you’re stuck in his arms and can’t see his face, he’s sending panicked looks to Plumeria who’s face palming in the distance. “Comfort them!” she mouths.

“Hey, you’re okay babe. Everything’s fine with Guzma here to protect ya,”

He leads you back to his room in the mansion of Po Town, ordering any grunts inside to leave immediately. He has you lay on the bed and joins you, letting you cuddle up against him.

For once he keeps his mouth shuts as he listens to what’s wrong and what has his significant other so upset. Whatever the problem is, he’s pissed that someone or something is upsetting you so much.

If someone was rude to you, you might have to convince him not to leave right at that moment to pummel them into the ground.

Right now he knows you need emotional support, so he’ll remind you just how great you are and that everyone in Team Skull loves you like family. You’re not alone he reminds you.

Once the rumor goes around that you’re not okay, all of the grunts are waiting at the door ready to fight whoever hurt you. Some of the grunts are waiting with a few berries they picked up the other day to give to you.

Guzma:

Oh boy will Guzma not stand for this. The fact that one of his grunts bullied you pisses him off. The fact that you tried to hide it from him is infuriating and deeply hurts him.

As soon as he finds out one of his grunts has been bullying you he will hunt them down and force them to apologize to you. Now they’re stuck on cleaning duty for the next six months. That’s really letting them down easy.

He will be pretty upset with his s/o too if they didn’t tell him in the first place what was going on. This could have been taken care of far sooner. He’ll yell at you without really thinking, telling you that you should have trusted him to protect you and that you should have come to him immediately.

Plumeria forces him to apologize to you for being so brash and for yelling at you. After all you didn’t want Guzma to get worried or to get in a fight with one of his grunts. You were just doing what you thought was right.

Once the whole situation has calmed down he calls a meeting with all of the grunts.

“If I find out any of you EVER pick on [Name] again for no reason, I will make you regret it punks!”
