The Park Ball might be one of the rarest Balls around! Only appearing in the Generation 4 games, this Ball was used in the process of transferring Pokémon from the GBA games to the DS. Players would go to Pal Park, where they could transfer 6 Pokémon at a time that they would then go out, into the Park, and re-catch them using Park Balls! These Balls always catch, making them functionally identical in catch rate to a Master Ball, but it is key to note that once caught and the transfer process is complete, the Pokémon will not display as having been caught in a Park Ball- instead showing the original Ball used to catch them. This means it's one of the few Balls that no Pokémon can ever have as its Ball! Despite having never been seen since, the Park Ball is still programmed as a item in game even to this day, so maybe one day we'll see a new use for such a unique Ball! And Game Freak? Don't think we missed the hint as to what games were coming after Diamond and Pearl- it's a little on-the-nose to introduce a ball with the colours of Gold, Silver, and Crystal!
