Little fun thing though on the topic of misery: the conveyor I work on at the moment in work serves the three postal sections of Donegal and the other night we got about 13 20kgish each boxes of car parts all for one woman in the same box that'd cover the same part of Donegal Éamonn would be from. We were getting so frustrated cus these boxes were making the whole conveyor clog up on top of being a pain on their own and dear sweet coworker said I fucking hate Donegal. I hate people from Donegal. No wonder Éamonn is from there.

Laughed like fuck and said maybe a great granddaughter of Éamonn's or something... Or wait. How would that work. Then said well to be honest Éamonn probably would sleep with some woman he has zero attraction to or regard for just because the opportunity arose and then leave her pregnant and disappear forever. And Dear Sweet Coworker was like wow... this guy is fucking horrible. I'm starting to really like him ❤️

#it did remind me that I'd had that thought probably like 2 years ago but immediately wrote it off cus it was too depressing #to write a woman being left with a child born out of wedlock in 1940s Ireland...#it's a level of misery fitting with the themes of the book but a specific topic I'm not sure how comfortable I feel writing about 🪾

Remind me I need to go back and private a tonne of posts from this account LOL nothing scary this shite has just been going on so long there's just a lot of stuff back there that doesn't reflect the current state of the story

#I say remind me but this post is to act as a reminder to myself #Biggest thing is literally like atmosphere of the posts to be honest LOL like I was 'writing' this back then with the intention of there #Being a happy or at least content ending. Not a fucking chance now. Has to all end in tears and absolute misery
