She’s had so many changes that it’s just hard to decide on what she is. Sure, characters that go through trauma like abuse might be somewhat harsh to others due to what they’ve gone through. But I just don’t think I developed that correctly.

If I can find a way to fix her character, I will definitely do so. I’ll bring her back if I do. Again, I love her design, but I just don’t like the way I have her personality and character developed. I cannot work with it that easily, so I might just scrap it completely; Initially, I wanted her to be this afraid character that really didn’t trust anyone. But it turned to a harsh personality with intense mood swings. She’s really passive-aggressive and I just can’t write that out as easily.

That’s kind of why I switched over to Audrey; I wanted a fresh start with a character; Someone who’s gone through a lot and actually learns from their mistakes. Sorrel wasn’t forgiving to those who hurt her, and she was just really blunt. I developed Audrey to be the exact opposite. She forgives those who have hurt her in the past (ie. Vigor. No matter how many times he hurts her, she’ll still forgive him. She knows what he is doing is wrong- She’s been cruel in the past and she has learned from her mistakes. The main reason for her forgiving him so many times is because she wants to help him change for the better.) and doesn’t dwell on many mistakes.

Of course, most characters come with baggage; I felt like Sorrel had too much of that. She was basically just a pile of random emotions that I spilled out onto a roleplay account.
