i want to make a fool of myself over you.

the hating game movie was the best book to movie adaptation i have seen, i loved it so much 😭 i’ve watched it three times already (once in the theater which was *chef’s kiss*) and each time was better than the last. it’s quickly made it to the list of comfort movies i have! lucy hale played our shortcake EXACTLY how i imagined it (she is who i picture whenever i read the book) and austin knocked it out of the park playing our grumpy shy joshua; i loved them both so much. i can’t get over how good it is and how they really tried to stay true to the book and used exact scenes and even lines throughout the movie. it wasn’t perfect, some details were different and the timeline was twisted a little bit but it worked for the movie. i’m really so happy how it came out and as austin mentioned in his post on instagram, i hope he and lucy team up again meg ryan and tom hanks style to do more rom coms together because they have really great chemistry and they bounced off each other so well.
