As they stopped at the cave, Travis looked over to see how Sol was doing.  The other boy had smiled, however, like everyone else he seemed to quiet down and settle almost looking as if he were trying to step back rom the cave.  Spiders didn’t seem to be anyone’s cup of tea.  Looking back towards the entrance, Travis was excited and curious about the next creature.  Maybe he’d get to volunteer again!

“Alright class, she’s a bit anxious around humans but be respectful.” As he walked out the large spider slowly revealed itself, her fangs clicked together as a small hiss followed. She was as large as a grown elephant. “Class, this beautiful creature goes by the name of Mosag—if you’ve done your research well you’d know she is the wife, well widow to Aragog. He was the previous guardian of the colony.” The entire gasped and jumped back, there was fear lingering in the air. Solanine couldn’t believe his eyes, his mother had told him stories of Mosag and Aragog but he never thought he’d see either in person. His body trembled.

Travis giggled and shook his head.  “Well if you disrespect them or hurt one of the children they’ll hurt you.  You know spiders are extremely misunderstood creatures..”  He stopped when Isobel simply gave him a look.  He sighed before looking over towards Sol and trying to give him the thumbs up.

Solanine could see a few of them smaller spiders crawling down the drop. “They’re just creepy..and misunderstood..don’t forget Sol.” He tried to remind himself. As his amber eyes glanced up he received a thumbs up from Travis. Sol smirked and gave a thumbs up right back—he couldn’t help but be nervous. Once the class finally reached the other side the Professer guided them just a bit further till they reached a cave. “Alright, now you all stay right ‘ere. I don’t want to frighten her.”

his phone kept buzzing in the back of his pocket, no doubt his tour manager demanding to know where he was, but kash figured he could let it slide for the time being. he knew when the band’s bus call was so he still had a few hours left before he’d really get into some trouble and even then, well, he’d been involved in worse arguments. right now none of that even seemed to matter as his eyes settled on the person sat opposite him in the diner; their eyes were sparkling and their laughter was infectious– kash daren’t look away in fear of missing out. it wasn’t supposed to unfold like this; usually anybody he met on a dating app was only after one thing so colour him surprised when instead of clothes being torn apart, it seemed to be his terrible jokes getting ripped to shreds. “alright, alright, so you’re honestly telling me that when you were younger, you didn’t fancy one of the disney animals? because you can lie to my face all you want but everybody thought that kovu from lion king two was an attractive lion with big dick energy.”

—•Angel smirked as the other spoke, even in his slight tipsy haze he was enjoying the company more than he expected. “Glad to know you’re capable of holding conversation, I hate small talk normally.” He shrugged and itched the corner of his mouth. Once Ezreil handed him back his phone he shoved it back into his jacket. “Alright so what sounds good to you and shut up, I wanna pay for it.” Angel smiled brightly at the other and patted him on the back. “On forward my friend, time to get those legs movin’.”
