It's A Finding Type Of Feeling

“Embarrassing is good. I swear.”

“Well, yeah. He just might. Maybe lets not do that,” she said with a laugh. “Maybe it’s just in Potions though. Charms, Defense, Herbology, singing. Maybe Merlin’s got your back there.” 

“This is true… forgive me, I’ve been into the punch,” he laughed. “I think it’s breathtaking. They transform it completely for these things, and it never fails to impress me. So where’s your lucky date?”

“Please,” Rhis said waving off the apology. “That punch is a gift from the wonderful smart arses of the year.” She laughed slightly as she joined him in looking at the hall. It was fairly nice, she always liked it when they decorated. Made her feel all warm inside. “Truth. They go all out. But sadly, I somewhat... forgot. I guess you could say. And was the unlucky fisherman when it came to getting a date. So I came stag. Or, well, the female version of stag. Doe?”

“Your serious?” Rhi asked, her eyes going wide. “I have no doubt. She’s one nasty witch. Who were you handling?”

Rhi shrugged her shoulders and pursed her lips. “Maybe you just need to push the limits. Channel your inner Merlin!”

“Just watch out for your big toe.”

“As long as you watch your pride,” Rhi called out as she took to the floor.

“We’re going to look like complete arses.” He grinned softly, taking her hand and following her out to the dance floor. “What’s your name anyway?” 

Rhi silently celebrated as she skipped out onto the floor with the boy in tow. “Great. I plan on looking like an arse for the rest of the year. Last one, gotta make it count.” She grinned and did a turn. “Rhiannon Podmore. But call me Rhi. And you are, Giggly McGee?”

“No way!” Rhi automatically ducked over the cut, pressing at the side gently. “Damn. Can I know who?” She glanced up hopefully.

“Booo,” Rhi said with a roll of her eyes. “And now that you’ve said that I’m not sure to believe you or not... But that sounds like an amazing story as well. Better than mine. I’m listening.”

“Nooooo.” He whined, standing. “I can’t’ dance normally…” 

“Neither can Iiii,” Rhi whined back, holding out a hand. “Come on. Please, please,please.”

“Well it looks like they grew back alright. Don’t worry. Mine are just made of steel. And Merlin’s got my back apparently.”

“Do you really remember that story? Cause if so that would be wicked.”

“Probably, but now you have to! Come on!”

“I know!” She might have been a tad bit too loud for the words, but she shrugged it off. “Well, I thought you would have a fun story to tell after mine.”

Kingsley laughed. “I’ll let you know if it works.”

“I would say thanks... But I’m not wearing a jacket, so I’m not sure how well that would work for me.” Rhi grinned and glanced around. “So what do you think about the hall? I think it turned out nice.”

“Well, if you insist, but my dancing skills are questionable at best.”

“Oh, I insist. Lets tear up the dance floor with our horrible skills.”

“Naaah.” 

“What? Really? So, what, you’re just going to sit there.”
