‘Outcast, But Never Alone’ is a zine celebrating diversity in The Adventure Zone fandom. We really wanna show off art of characters of colour, trans characters, WLW and MLM!

We will have two ways to get the zine - a PDF or a physical copy. Whatever’s made from physical copies will go towards compensating the artists involved (after production costs), and proceeds from the PDF will go towards supporting two charities: The National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color Network (NQTTCN) which gives support to LGBT clinicians and therapists of colour, and LGBTCollege which looks to promote non-white narratives in LGBT spaces.

But before we get to that: Applications are now open! If you’d like to draw or write something for the zine, please apply! The deadline is the 19th of June.

you people will make think pieces and tear something or someone to shreds for being homophobic, but the MINUTE people of color have issues with the racism in form of media littered with gay content, you all talk about “idealogical purity” and claim we demand too much. 

you’re all suddenly complacent with the shittiness and mock everyone who feels angry and hurt. you joke about people creating critical blogs or being ignorant simply because they were shocked that a creator that said in his own words that he would be responsive, made terrible terrible decisions that of course would piss of a fandom.

i dont want to see you mock these people for being angry when you will criticize a show simply because there’s no gay characters or it treats its gay characters like garbage.

you people are incredibly defensive about criticism and throw around buzzwords to delegitimize the issue and mock those who were offended and shocked by the lack of thought that went into the decisions made.
