So, Jazz and Meister are co-pilots, and they need a new Mecha. There is one Mecha that is operational that they can use while they wait for a new one to be made. This Mecha has a few rumors going around about it, concerning suspicions and almost supernatural things.

As they start using this mech, they notice a few things. A voice in the back of their heads here, parts of the body working when it shouldn't be working there, things of that nature. But it usually keeps them alive, so they didn't question it too much. That was until that voice turned more into a presence in their drift.

They realize there is someone else in this drift with them. After a bit of searching, they find that this presence is a ghost of one of the dead pilots that died in the mech while in the drift, Prowl. While his body died, his consciousness seemed to have been transferred to the Mecha.

He becomes a third person in their drift, as he is connected to the actual mech. This allows him to rewire power to keep the pilots alive when shit goes wrong, allows them to control the body even when power to a limb goes ect, ect.

One day, a battle happens with Prowl and the Constructicons involved. Prowl is terrified over what's going to happen to the Constructicons because he's used to the Autobots not following his orders, and as a result the Autobots end up getting hurt and more casualties happen. Then, he watches as the Constructicons just do as he says, and they make it out without a scratch. He's so relieved.

(Post-war with Prowl being built post war)

So, Jazz was always blind. (He used to be able to see light and vague shapes, but damage he received combined with the over use of his visor during the war burned out the rest of his vision.) He found other ways to get around. His visor helped, he used other sensors in his body, and he used his speaks for a bit of ecolocation at times.

During the war, he pushed these abilities far past the max his frame could saftey use them at. He also got a lot of injuries during the war too.

Now, post-war, Ratchet is concerned about his frame. He burned out sensors far beyond repair, his processor is stressed from utilizing part of his frame in ways that arn't ment to for extended periods of time plus pushing them beyond their max, and other injures are acting up. Ratchet wants Jazz to significantly lower his visor usage, lower his sensory input, and give his frame a rest.

Jazz doesn't like this, becuase this will cause him to be disconnected from the world. But Ratchet explains that if he doesn't, he will damage himself more. So, Jazz needs to find other way to get around, as all his adaptation are now restricted from war damage. So, he gets a guide dog (and is not happy about it.)

Prowl is a pure pred, highly trained, highly intelligent guide dog. He gets placed with Jazz through a program. He is a very professional, very dedicated, very to the books (training).

Jazz now has this dog that is very adaptable to new situations, but does not like to budge on what it thinks he should do. This dog thinks he knows better then Jazz. The dog does not luke taking "no" as an answer.

Jazz now needs to learn to depend on another being after learning to only depending on himself.

Jazz also has some PTSD. Prowl just sits by his side, being an alive and safe presence, when ever Jazz breaks down.

Prowl gets angry when Jazz ignoring his alerts. Prowl gets very shocked when Jazz disregards the rules Prowl learned to follow during training.

It's many years after the war, and Prowl is non-verbal. As more mechs are built, people hear of Prowl less and less. He's no longer known as the terrifying Autobot who will cross any line, as Autobots are not really a thing post war. People now just see Prowl as this Non-Verbal person, and start infantalizing him, thinking he needs extra help to do bassic task, ect.

Prowl 100% uses this to his advantage. He gets people to do things for him by pretending he can't do it himself, people talk infront of him and say things they don't want others to know as they don't think he can do much with information he hears, ect.

But, Prowl also hates people thinking he's stupid. So once he got what ever he needs from you, he shows his intelligence and completes a power play over the other mech.

A recently released criminal who was arrested for murdering pedos is trying to find a job, but can't due to the whole "got arrested for mutiple counts of murder" thing. He finnally lands a position as the night guard for the F aF 2 restaurant.

When the Toy Animatronics see him, their criminal database shows them his charges, and they are like "Well, he will protects the kids."

Prowl is a bassicly a cat and likes to find shinny things. But, he doesn't reallt want to keep the things he finds, so he enjoys giving shinny things to people. Tbe Autobots thought it was stupid, not really understanding why he gave what they thought was "Useless trash" to them. Now, Constructicons love getting shiny gifts from him.

Prowl also starts learning how to carve rocks, and other shinny materials. He makes them things now.

Jazz and Meister and are drift compatible. Prowl was fighting the Quintessons, and got injured to the point of stasis. The humans, in desperate need of another suit, quickly turn the robot body into a proper piloting mech. The thought he was a private sector destroyed suit, not an alien. So, Jazz and Meister get the suit. Slowly, Prowl starts waking up. It's a VERY slow process as Prowl's body is not only healing itself, but integrating new parts.

The two of them think he is a built in AI at first.

In this AU, most people are human pilots. The government used experimental "upgrades" on them to make them better pilots. The people I mentioned here are a team that commonly worked together.

Jazz: He is blind, and uses an experimental visor implant to scan his surroundings. But, he can only use it for so long until it becomes too painful. He has a guide dog named Sunny. The dog does not join him in the mechs lol.

Orion: His mech is named Optimus Prime. He has robotic implants for a spine, and it allows him to be extremely physically stronger than most humans. But, it causes chronic pain. He did paint it red and blue to match his mecha.

Ratchet: He has metal bracelets surgically attached to his arms and hands. They allow him to do a lot more precise movements, and have a few medical upgrades. But, his arms no longer feel like they are his. While most have a specific mecha they use that no one else does, Ratchet doesn't have one of his own. If he does need to pilot, he pilots a mecha that anyone can pilot.

Bee: While he doesn't have a large implant or anything like the others, he has a lot of smaller ones. One of those being a replacement voice box, but this one failed. He is only semi-verbal now. Another one of his implants is something on his wrist that allows him to add attachments to them. He has knife attachments (knife handsss)
