Hello I needed an outlet to talk about Genshin and none of my friends play or play anymore so I'm back on tumblr because tweeting on my main is intimidating again. And this is MY blog, I'm allowed to be self-indulgent and talk and talk and talk!!! Anyway, spoilers abound, proceed with caution if you are in any way attached to not knowing what happens in Natlan

For archival purposes, I'm letting the blog know that I've completed act I-II and just started act III this past week -- we've just met Ororon and Capitano in the Night Kingdom and I must say that I was not expecting Ororon's English VA to make him sound so gentle. His backstory as this introverted farmer who raises phlogiston aphids also takes me out, if he wasn't designed like a teenager who only shops at Hot Topic, I'd adore him immensely. Perhaps I can put him in new clothes when the inevitable fan-art comes out of me? I know at the time of Natlan release, I was clowning on his design HARD along with every other person on twitter -- I'm so sorry Ororon;;; I also had stupid personal beef with him because my sona is also a bat who at one point had pink/blue homophobia in his eyes, but I've redesigned Wyrm so far away from that aesthetic at this point that I'm not as insecure about it anymore. It doesn't need saying I think, but I'm also so curious as to what the Fatui are planning and how they got Ororon to side with them, even temporarily I was told to go into Natlan with zero expectations and I must say that that is probably the most enjoyable experience I'm going to have out of it. It's been so long since I was immersed in Genshin lore that I'm not married to a lot of the stakes anymore and as long as all the lightskinned NPCs with protective hairstyles stay far away from me I think I'll be psychically okay lol My last aside is that outside the game, Citlali was always described to me as this "traveller fangirl" but we've already met her and she just seems like a normal playable female character?? Maybe things will change as I go on but as I was expecting to be immediately revulsed meeting her, I am pleasantly surprised in that avenue. Going forward, I'll be using the tag "genshin playthrough archive" in order to organize all the reactions/reviews of the main archon quests and to keep them separate from the generic miscellaneous fanboying in "genshin rambles". I think that should be all for now? I'd really like to finish Natlan by the time May is over, wish me luck!
