(Spoilers for Project Hail Mary the book) I wish they showed more of something in the movie: Grace's experiments. This guy was out there as soon as he had conscious thought testing the computer that was meant to be testing him. He was out there swinging tape measures around and writing on every available surface including himself. He was so impatient to measure the mass of a sphere he ran off to do his own experiment instead of waiting for more information. He was so patient that he could sit and watch a pendulum swing for ten minutes. This guy woke up and immediately chose science
