A friend of mine returned from her trip to Germany a couple of months ago and she got me some goodies including a large packet of vegan gummy bears which I was too excited to try as I hadn't really had any in many many years, especially since going vegan some 14 years ago. They were super yummy and I got pretty nostalgic too, considering they tasted just like I remembered back when I would eat them as a kid. And because of how big the packet was it took me a little while to finish it. Usually I'd have a couple after getting home from work as they had slowly turned into my little comfort treat. The day I ran out about a couple of weeks ago, I remember thinking 'Well, there you go. It was nice while it lasted, but eventually all good things come to an end and so has this one. Now who knows when you might ever get the chance to have vegan gummy bears again. It will probably be a long while."
