This is an interpretation btw ^

the idea of love is so beautiful yet it overwhelms me 

things haven’t been very perfect lately so everytime i sit down to ponder- all i can think of is how easily people can fall out of love. 

like we could be dreaming of each other and then one morning everything just collapses. the fire in their eyes does nothing but burn bridges. their comforting words are nothing but a monotonous repetition. the glow in their skin hurts your fingertips. 

what then? do we just move on? do we just wait to be loved again? 

sometimes you fall out of love for the same reasons you fall for it. 

and i guess on days like those when you stop giving love- or stop receiving it- its so important to just wake up and still be kind. still smile at blooming flowers. still look up at the sun, squint and then smile. 

its still important to keep all that love. if they cant give it you- you give it to yourself. look at all the other love around you 

look at the platonic love. look at the love your family gives you. look at how much the moon loves you when she shines. look in the mirror. 

That shit is slow poison...

Simply:

Set serious boundaries.

" No " is a reasonable answer / response.

Make your own choices for yourself.

Prioritise yourself. (I swear it's not selfish)

Stop making excuses for others screw ups.

Stop being so fucking pleasent 24/7. (Be how you please.. that's how you attract your tribe)

Don't stay where you are not respected.

Learn to respect yourself more. (Being a people pleaser means that you are a nice person but it is also a sign that you have low self-esteem.. )

Fucking... SPEAK UP !!!!!! (Why should you or anyone tolerate being belittled??)

Protect your peace of mind. (Isn't it what this is all about?? )

Stop apologizing.. everyone makes mistakes.. Do you hear everyone apologize for the crap they've done so far ??

Have you ever spotted a happy people pleaser ???

They don't exist..

Living a life to please everyone around you.. thats fucking exhausting..

I am not telling you to be a selfish person. But you have to be selfish about your peace of mind..

Be true to your beliefs and speak up when you're treated unjustly. People often take advantage of people pleasers & no one deserves to be taken advantage of...

Create firm boundaries & speak up when anyone is crossing those boundaries.

Be authentic & fearless. 💖

Some no brainer shit..

Don't give people advices that they didn't ask for.

Don't cut other's conversation.

Be mindful of your voice & tone. Do you sound rude / sarcastic / cynical ???

Don't brag about how right all your decisions are... That will sound as if you are indirectly pointing out how stupid everyone else is in the same situation.

Confrontation doesn't always have to be mean.

Work on being empathetic. Before saying something out loud... Think about the impact of your words / actions on others.

Give people room to speak.

Just because you hear a gossip / a rumour about someone don't treat them differently.

Mind your own body. Remember that there are countless reasons as to why someone is overweight or underweight (Besides over / under eating) . As someone who's been both..... I hate nobody as much as I hate a body shamer. (A post regarding this topic is in my blog)

Don't be a pick me girl. You know... The kind that says.. "I am not like the other girls.." 😒 there is nothing wrong with "Other girls"... 😮‍💨

Don't immediately judge a person.. even if you do judge a person.. at least don't make it obvious. 🙄

Read the room before you say anything.

"Thumper" from "Bambi" said .. "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all."

Avoid pointing out an individual's past mistakes. Everyone did something stupid in the past. That's how we evolve. 🤷🏻‍♀️
