**In another universe where Vampires didn’t come from Dragons earning them the title.**

Vampire Izou is in his manor alone. He’s lost everyone. A young woman, a human named Jhr’Deiyah comes to work at his manor. Slowly but surely they build their relationship. She defends his honour and is by his side while he plots his revenge. She will go to places he would not be seen at and vice versa.

He teaches Jhr’Deiyah all about high society etiquette, the ins and out of the noble world. She attends tea parties with the other women. After all, they’re not just tea parties. These psychological warfare events are also hubs for information.

Information they use to their advantage in the long game they are playing.

Jhr’Deiyah: *intensely staring at her reflection as she continues her eyeshadow look*

Marco: Why aren’t you ready?

Jhr’Deiyah: I’m trying to serve cunt Marco.

Marco: *rolls his eyes* We’re leaving in 20 minutes. With or without you. *turns to leave*

Jhr’Deiyah: *grumbles*

Marco: Hurry up!

Jhr’Deiyah: *rolls eyes*

Pops: Is she nearly ready?

Marco: *sighs* No.

* At the restaurant •

*Everyone greets Izou who’s waiting at our table*

Thatch: Sorry we’re late man

Marco: We would’ve been earlier but someone was trying to “serve cunt” *pointedly stares at her. Jhr’Deiyah deliberately ignores and picks up a menu*

Izou: *has a curious and amused look on his face as he looks from Marco to the woman seated opposite him*

Jhr’Deiyah: The thought of Izou thinking she got dressed up for him causes her cheeks to heat up in embarrassment. *glares at Marco from across the table*

Marco: *looks at Jhr’Deiyah with an annoying, smug look on his face and smirks knowing full well what he did*

Izou: *secretly smiles with a mischievous glint in his eyes*

Jhr’Deiyah: *tries to keep her composure as her eye twitches*

Marco: You alright yoi? You got a little twitch there

Jhr’Deiyah: *looks down and gets her phone out her purse and opens the messaging app* -I.will.pluck.you-

Izou: Lilian, I’m heartbroken you forgot. *wipes a fake tear with his Gucci handkerchief*

Lillian: Hey man, you just heard I have ADHD. I have a lot going on.

Zoro: *rolls his eye* Your gift is in the mail.

Jhr’ Deiyah: *points her finger then snaps* Exactly. Exactly Lillian!

Izou: *sips his tea* Do you want me to switch to the Schiaparelli bag?

Jhr’Deiyah: Sorry sir.

Izou: Thank you Zoro. They actually got me a gift. *takes another sip, his eyes turn to Jhr’Deiyah* Yet… *pouts *

Jhr’Deiyah: I promise I’ll make it up to you

Izou: *smiles behind his teacup*

Rosinante: *whispers to Lillian and Zoro as Jhr’Deiyah is in a state of panic* She totally forgot about the gift she bought him earlier this year. Izou knows about it because she got excited and showed him. He’s just messing with her now.
